Melbourne Lodge History
During the 18th Century Melbourne Lodge was home to some of the most important occupants of the Brocket Hall Estate - the horses. This was the stable block, which provided the tireless steeds that not only took the Hall's residents and guests hunting but also provided the interest on race days on the private racecourse that surrounded the Estate.
