Our Rooms
In fine English Country House style, each of the sixteen rooms in Melbourne Lodge is individually decorated to provide a relaxing and luxurious experience whilst staying on the Brocket Hall Estate. Grandly spacious, and furnished with original pieces from the Estate, they are the perfect place to retire to after a wonderful dinner or an exhilarating game of golf.
In keeping with the former use of Melbourne Lodge, as the Estate stable block, each room is named after one of the great racehorses of the day, and a fascinating history of the former ‘residents’ can be found on your arrival. Whether you choose Crepello or Northern Dancer, Nijinsky or Red Rum, our guests always find a favourite to which they look forward to returning again and again.
All the rooms are en-suite, with well-appointed bathrooms, television and telephone, tea and coffee facilities, and complimentary mineral water upon your arrival. The Melbourne Lodge offers 24 hour room service which is to be requested via the Golf Club Reception who will happily make the necessary arrangements.
